OBS is lagging and freezing when captures a game.

Hi, I have the following problem:
When I start capturing a game on a stream, all other elements freeze or lag very much. I don't understand why this could have happened. Applications and the browser are in the exceptions, they work fine.

Hi, unfortunately i have no solution, but i think I'm having the same problem as you. everytime i chose a source for OBS to record, it just crashes and afterwards i can't use my taskmanager and other stuff or sometimes my PC just completely freezes. pls tell me when you found a solution.
