Question / Help obs has problem with aero

hi, i want to use obs to record some parts of my games as local recording but i have some problem :s
one month ago i started obs and film that i want but few days ago i start obs and i saw black screen on preview :/ so i changed some options and i discover that : if windows aero is activated i have black screen but if i switch off aero (options pannel) i have a good preview with my screen. How obs display with black screen only cause of this "aero"? i'd like to film with aero activated, it's better :/

Generally, having Aero enabled for Window capture is better, but there are some applications that don't work with Window capture when Aero is enabled. What are you trying to capture?

Monitor capture is inefficient on windows 7 to a point where capturing with it is pointless without Aero disabled.

Maybe the OBS rewrite will have more efficient monitor capture, but that's just me being hopeful, not even sure if it can be improved on.

The best way to stream LoL is to set up 2 scenes. In the first scene, have a Window Capture of the LoL client (make sure Aero is enabled on Win 7), and in the 2nd scene, have a Game Capture of the actual LoL game. Then use the Simple Scene Switcher to automatically swap between them: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/simple-scene-switcher.29/

Don't use Window capture on a fullscreen game.

Right now, the best way to monitor capture with Aero enabled is with DWM capture.
