Hey, i've been using this for quite some time now and it has been working flawlessly!
Thanks for creating it, it's very useful.

One thing i wish that this had though (and i don't know how feasible this is) was to be able to use this plugin with individual sources instead of the whole scene... similar to the Source Record plugin (https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/source-record.1285/)

That would (i imagine) be quite an undertaking. And so it's probably not something I'd be looking to do in the future.

What Windows notification sender (if any) does this use? I have my notifications pretty locked down, and I'm not sure what I need to allow. Would also be nice if the clip renaming could happen with a Display Capture source, but that might not be a reasonable request.

Hey this makes use of OBS's windows notification system. So unblocking OBS should work.

Greetings! May we have option to choose "active source" for recording via hadowplay? Cause I want to have empty game source in saved file without any layers from egular stream.

Hey, I think your request is similar to maclanky request.

Because it would require changes to how the replay buffer works it's a little out of scope for this plugin.

Finally got round to an update after all this time, big thanks to community contributors.

• Added the option to sort screenshots into folders
• Added the option to prefix replay files with the target name
• Added the option to disable the sorting of files all together
• Fixed notifications only playing if sorted.

For the adding prefix of target name into file, can you make it a space instead of underscore? or just have the option to change the separation? Underscore looks messier in my file naming scheme.

Never mind this, managed to change it and build it myself. Might be good to implement though an option for separation. Though that's totally up to you, thank you for this plugin!

Wanted to say that this plugin is fantastic, NVIDIA Shadowplay is no way near that. Last update made it more convenient, thank you for your work!
Also I wanted to ask is there some kind of overlay to show status of buffer like in Shadowplay in plans? Would be very useful if so.
And how can I support this plugin? Any donations? I'd be glad to help in development somehow

By overlay I meant some indication that replay buffer is on, sometimes I just forget have I turned on the buffer or not and alttabs to check it. Nvidia has some floating badges in corner of screen to indicate that, something similar would be a nice addition to Hadowplay.

Reset replay buffer fix

This is just quick fix to the replay buffer not resetting correctly when saved.

I've also gone through and updated the version numbers which might be a little confusing sorry about that.

I'd forgotten how I'd been incrementing the version numbers before and only just realised I'd messed it up after comnig back.

Hello, is it possible to make the plugin start the replay buffer to be active all the time, not just while the game has been detected? I used shadowplay all the time, was easy to save something on the desktop or stuff like that. Currently I need to start replaybuffer using launch parameters but if plugin could do it would be much easier for me thanks!

Hmmm, while possible I feel like the command arguments are a good enough solution, there is a task to add proper desktop organisation.

And if you're annoyed by having to add the command args or use a specific shortcut, it should be very easy to write a python script that starts the replay buffer as soon as OBS launches.

Sorry but adding an option for this kind of thing is always the most tedious part of adding new features

Small little update to add the ability to customise the replay filename to incluide the target name before or after aswell as to use a custom separator.

Also added the abiltiy to disable folder organisation for those who just want all their replays in the same folder but with target names.

Started using OBS replay cause of Nvidia turning off replay if i had anything that it didnt like open on google (like soundcloud) and i like it so far and this addon is just what i needed. But the only thing thats annoying me right now is that both the sound and notification show up in the replay if i take one right after, is there any work-around?

Hmm that's a good point, the best I can think of is to turn the notifications off, unfortunately there isn't much I can do to make obs ignore them. From what I remember this is also an issue with shadowplay

Just made obs play into secondary audio source so only i can hear it. Obs captures Voicemeeter Input while OBS only plays into Voicemeeter AUX Input :)

Just poking through the settings of this plugin, I don't see an option or way to add games to be automatically captured by a Game Capture source. I think that would be an extremely nice thing to add, I can't find a very usable way to do this online. I'd like to see a box similar to the exclusion list, just add the exe name of the games you play and Game Capture will automatically capture them. So far I've been using the "Capture foreground window with hotkey" setting in OBS for more than a year, but despite that I still sometimes forget to capture a game before something worth saving happens and I just end up with a black clip that has no game sound. Just my mic and discord on their own tracks lol. I've had to sadly delete north of 50 clips like this, all of which were in some way interesting enough to warrant saving so that's a little lame.

I recently found a script which sorts Replay Buffer saved clips into folders named after the game's exe so I have that functionality covered, same with Replay Buffer starting by default which OBS supports as a launch parameter for the desktop shortcut. I'm asking about this here because this plugin seems like it could actually finally solve this issue with Game Capture for me.

Also it's a small thing but I'd like an option to customize the "Replay buffer saved notification" sound. The pop used is nice but it would just be nice to be able to change it. Though that's a pretty low priority thing. Thanks for making a cool plugin!
