Question / Help OBS-General Quality question

Hi all,

for my Streaming purposes I stream to my Custom Server with 720p @ 30FPS.
I set the Canvas Area also to 720p (1280x720).

So my Questions are is there an Video Quality difference if I:

1. Get The Video Signal with 1080P let the Canvas to FULL HD (1080p) then Rescale output to 720P
2. Get the Video Signal with 720p let the Canvas to 720P and the output to 720p

depends on the rescale filter but 1:1 is always the better way to go
