As it says, so it will not let me use game capture so I can do fullscreen on fallout 4.....
My Obs just freezes and does not work at all.
I have no other problem capturing other games.
I have tried all of the boxes you can check mark in the props files. So I am a Bit confused.
Any ideas I would love to play this game in fulls screen.

Also I do not know how to provide you a log sorry this is my first time posting here.
If you give me the required steps for it I shall provide you with any info you need.
Thank you everyone for the help!

Ok so I re created the issue I think it has to do with my using window captures on my twtich alert boxes.
Here ya go this is me actually having it happen. I really need to be able to use my follower alert at least.

If you're capturing in full screen, when you aren't in the game it will likely stop rendering to save resources, so it will look frozen in the OBS preview.

Umm is there a way around this? I need to be able to see my obs
I just tried your analyzer thin gin your profile and it says add something as a global source? If this is the problem fix please do explain how to make that work.
Sorry for the hassle, I usually do not have issues.

Run the game in windowed fullscreen / borderless mode if it supports it.
No it does not. It has a window mode but does not allow it to be completely full screen. I just find it hard to believe there is not a simple fix for this. I will figure it out and if I fix it I will post it and show the fix. :)

Ok I think I may have figured this out. so In my Nvidia control panel I switch my resolution in my display to this. PC- 1680 x1050 instead of 1080P .1920 x 1080 native.
Then in my game capture I used these in that particular source. stretch image to screen, Ignore aspect ratio < that actually made it fit to the screen cause fitting to screen in the source would not work at all.
Then I have anti - cheat compatibility on.
The only down fall to all this I seen is my tv screen is not as vibrant as it would be on the other resolution.
Also it takes me a few times of alt tabbing in and out of the game then presto boom it works and no freezinf and records perfectly. Or at least preview, also in fallout in the options I have it set to 1680 x 1050.
Soo to anyone have massive issues and wanting to play in full screen this may be a fix.
It will take some messing around with but it seems to work.
Tonight or tomorrow I will do a test stream to see if it is working correctly or not and get back to you guys.
Hope this helps someone
