Question / Help OBS fails to open or crashes most of the time

Not sure what changed to start this problem, but 9 times out of 10 when I try to open OBS, it doesn't even open a window before deciding to not actually run. It rarely even gets to make a crash log unless I try opening it again and again, but I have a suspicion that it's "crashing" those times because of multiple instances. I can post the crash log or a regular log, I'm not sure which would be more useful.

Clearing my %APPDATA%\obs-studio folder lets me open the program no problem. I'd really prefer not to rebuild my scenes from scratch, however.

Any help or advice would be appreciated!

Bumping this thread because I still cannot open OBS consistently. If I'm lucky, I'll try opening twice in quick succession and the one I choose to "Launch anyway" will actually run. Otherwise, it just never even opens a window.
