OBS Crashing

Hi there, recently been having problems with OBS while streaming on Twitch. It crashed 3 times within 2 hours of streaming, and also crashed once the day before. Out of nowhere, nothing seeming to link the crashes. :(

x264 crashes almost always indicate hardware failure such as an unstable overclock, faulty memory or outdated BIOS. Check your RAM with a Prime95 stress test for confirmation.

Update BIOS, if that doesn't help it's a hardware issue.

Corrupt Windows system files can cause application crashes . I would suggest performing a scan of your system files with SFC, e.g. SFC /SCANNOW.

My computer is pretty outdated and old, so I definitely didn't want to try the Prime95 test. I did however try the scan and repaired some of the systems files, and since streaming the last few days, I have not encountered any issues!
