OBS crashes at launch (MacOS)

Hi,
I downloaded OBS on a new Macbook pro (13 M1 16gb)
I ran some tests, it was working perfectly, until its first crash.
it launches and crashes automatically since.

Hi, I have had the same problem in the beginning. Reseting the configuarion by entering %APPDATA% as location solved the issue for me.
If that doesn't help I would try to do a clean install...

I see!
The fact is, As I can't open OBS, how can I reset the configuration ?
I "solved" my problem by re-installing a previous release, but I prefer the software to be up to date

Hi i just installed obs on a mbpro using big surr and obs just crashes for me, i cannot even launch the software... how do we fix this? thanks

I can't get OBS to launch since I upgraded to Big Sur.
I deleted OBS and re-installed on a number of times. Also installed an older version of OBS. Same result.

Is there any fix for this ???

Can you give me any directions on "Reseting the configuarion by entering %APPDATA% as location". Would really appreciate any help as this is causing a lot of grief. Many thanks.

%APPDATA% is a windows shortcut and won't work with macOS

Same. I'm on Big Sur 11.2.3. Installed it yesterday, worked great. Tried today, crashed every time. Any way to fix this?
