Reliably crashes a short duration after I start playing and recording.

nividia 650 TI gpu
attempting to record in high quality 60fps 16000 bitrate
my computer is kinda beefy it should be able to do so.

what can I do to circumvent this issue and use OBS to its full potential?

same thing keeps happening to me. read a workaround from another thread that the dev says to run the game in windowed mode and it won't crash. this is incorrect, i could record up 9 minutes then it would crash. but i'm not sure its the app that's crashing because my cpu (FX 8150 oc'd @ 4Ghz) is going into overload. OBS says its only using 11% of my cpu but my perf. monitor (advanced system care) registers that its really using up to 35% of the cpu. i'm not sure why this is happening, my system idles a 8% while i'm in game in fullscreen so why is OBS eating up 3 times that.

in any case i love this app and hope this issue gets resolved quickly so i can start recording again.

Actually very relevant i have the exact same cpu, but this should be able to handle whatever obs is throwing at it unless its doing something horribly wrong.
