OBs crashes 5 times in 1 hour, please help

I'm at my wits end. I was only using obs while streaming a nintendo switch game and i crashed 5 times back to back. Im at my wits end. Please help. I was only running obs and a very small program.

Can your computer overheat if its on a carpeted floor?

What have to do a carpeted floor with a computer overheating?
Actually, it can contribute to overheat due to dust, but the internals of a computer when overheating can be caused by other factors.
