Question / Help Noob Help - Bleeding Software Won't Record Sound!

So I'm silly; I've got everything set up to work but when I try and record gameplay, OBS just decides that it doesn't like my sound and refuses to record it.

Or I'm just retarded and messed up something somewhere. Some assistance would be appreciated either way.

Please include a logfile from a live streaming session, as it requests when you open a new Questions & Help thread. It'll let us know what's going on, on the back-end. Makes it much easier to troubleshoot. :)

Most commonly lately it seems that people with Xonar sound cards have this sort of problem, and they have to disable a certain mode to get the sound card to stop screwing with things. There are a few threads open already if you have one of those. Alternately, make sure your desktop audio source is set to the right thing... Default usually works, but if you have a USB headset or something, it may need to be switched to start watching the right audio stream.

Everything's been set in the correct direction. Is there a checkbox somewhere that I'm overlooking?
 
Does that headset have any kind of fake 5.1/7.1 surround sound modes? If so, disable them and see if running in normal stereo mode fixes the problem.
