I don't know anything about code but I would like a specific layout. I want what is basically game_fps1 but with a mouse movement tracker. Is this possible? I wouldn't know how to make this myself.

Here's the keyboard file. I'll include it in the next release as game_fps1_mm.kb. But name it whatever you want for now.

Is there a way to increase the sensitivity detection of the mouse movement? I move my mouse very slowly but have a higher game sensitivity. Resulting in very little showing on NohBoard.

No, there is no way currently. I could make it configurable, where it'd basically take a specified multiple of the mouse movement as input.

Could you please do this? I love the mouse visualizer but it's too sensitive for me.

As requested, there now is an option in NohBoard.config to set your mouse sensitivity. The default is 100. Any higher increases the sensitivity, any lower decreases it.

hi i was wondering if you guys could help me with problem


the white one is window capture

and the working one is game capture and i cannot remove background ;/

so i was wondering what is causing this white to happen instead of keyboard ;(?

It's probably on the same monitor as a fullscreen game. This is a known bug, as stated in the overview. The only thing you can really try is either play the game in windowed mode, or place NohBoard on another monitor, as that sometimes fixes it. None of those methods are guaranteed to work though. Fortunately, once the rewrite of obs is done, we'll be able to do color key on game captures, and this problem will be history.

its was on another monitor, but after i updated bios it got fixed and after i reactivated quicksync (as in setting up fake monitor and making it active)
this happened again. so i solved problem by accidentally by bios upgrade

Is there any way you could make the circle anti-aliased? It's all 1 pixel, and would look awesome if it had more pixels attached to it.

First of all awesome job and claps for the author for the tool. Second thing wud be request for drag and drop layout configuration tool. Its not easy but wud be very helpful.

Ok time for some reactions.

@ball2hi: There are several graphical improvements that would be nice. Sadly I don't really have the time required to invest in doing this.

@sneaky4oe: Editing keyboard files is not too hard. I can do this for you, but you'll have to provide an image showing how exactly you want it to look.

@salofun: I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you just said. You'll have to be a bit clearer.

@Daigtas: Thanks. And nice layout. I'm not really expecting any releases soon, but whenever there is a new release, I'll include this layout in it.
As for the drag and drop tool, that's also on my wishlist. I'd really love to have that but the same thing applies to ball2hi's question. I don't have much time to work on this stuff at the moment. On top of that, I'm really not a pro in c++ or directx, so I'm really glad I got as far as I did, the editing tool is a whole new level.

In general, I'd love to rewrite this tool from the ground up, to clean it up and make it easier to extend it in different ways. But I'll have to find some more free time, and someone with more experience in directx and c++ in general to help me out with that.

Would it be possible someway somehow to use it through the network ?
I have a dual computer setup and I would like to display the virtual keyboard on the streaming computer instead of playing computer (cauz only 1 monitor)

There's a feature for that. It's a bit of a hassle to use, but I built it like this due to a request from another user.

What you would be doing is sending the same input to both computers, NohBoard has the option to trap the keyboard and mouse output, so it doesn't go out to other programs. This way, the streaming computer would be receiving the same input as your gaming computer, but it would not be controlling anything. Once you need to take back control over the streaming computer you use the hotkey to disable the mouse/keyboard lock and you can go back to managing the stream. You do need to somehow get the input signal to both computers though, there are solutions for that, I don't remember which they are exactly.

Nohboard suddenly stopped working for me today. It just shows a gray square now. In the scene, Nohboard is set to Window Capture.

Things I've tried:

1. Re-adding the source
2. Moving Nohboard to a different monitor

I'm using it while streaming a windowed game, and I didn't change anything on my computer/OBS settings/stream setup from my last stream to today. I did, however, install a third monitor today, one that has less resolution than my other two and is smaller. I'm not sure if that impacts anything.

That is most likely the reason then. It might be an idea to try and move NohBoard around across other monitors, to see if it will be captured on those others. This issue with adding and removing monitors has always eluded me, so I cannot give you any definitive solution to your problem.
