Hi, I'm new with OBS. I'm using Razer Ripsaw HD capture card and everythings looking good, but i can't hear sounds from it in OBS. Desktop sounds are working fine, but nothing coming from the CC. I was speaking with Razer support and they don't know what is wrong and they told me to contact OBS support or someone whos maybe know how to fix my issue. I tried different Ripsaw and there was same problem, so the CC should be good. Thank you

Edit: I'm using it for streaming from my Xbox to PC.

I had a similar problem in Win 10 with 3x HDMI capture boxes. I never had any sound from my HDMI capture box (Elikliv). Under sound/video devices in device manager, I had 2 high def audios- Realtek and Nvidia. I disabled HD audio via motherboard bios & this removed Realtek. I then could capture audio via the box by going to the properties of the capture box in OBS and selecting direct sound and checking the custom audio box. I used the drop-down to select the capture box.

Heep this helps.

I'm not tech savy. What did you mean by: " I disabled HD audio via motherboard bios"? i wouldn't even know how to begin doing that.

My post was in error. My problem originated in my using remote desktop to control my HTPC. I had to change the settings in remote desktop on my laptop so the sound would play on the HTPC and be captured by the box.

If you're not using remote desktop, this won't help you.

One thing I'll suggest you check in OBS is the audio setting. On the mixer section where the sound meter moves, there is a settings icon there usually for audio and video. If you right-click on it and select "advanced audio properties", you'll see some options for the audio. It defaults to monitor off. Try changing this to monitor and output. I made a picture of what to do in version 23.1 and will attach it if I am allowed.
