First, I believe obs isn't the most user-friendly software. I could never setup advanced output recordings giving it my best try so what I have been doing for the past year is open 2 separate obs windows and have one just record my microphone and the other for my gameplays. recently I noticed they had added multi audio track into the basic output settings and I was extremely ready to use that so I wouldn't have to run 2 separate obs tabs I could just use the one and not have extra storage used up. Every time I finish recording, I go and check the video the gameplay audio is perfectly fine, but my microphone is constantly clipping, I have tried turning my filters off, I analyzed the log file and all it says in the red is mp4 recording, there's no audio buffering. my CPU usage is very low even when I'm recording.
