New Feature Ideas to Enhance OBS Studio

Hi OBS Community,
I’ve been using OBS Studio for a while now, and I love its versatility. I wanted to share a few ideas and suggestions for potential development improvements that could make the platform even better:
  1. Integrated Audio Filters for Streamlined Workflow – Having advanced audio filters directly in the main interface rather than navigating multiple menus could save time for content creators.
  2. Scene Transition Presets – Allow users to save and quickly switch between multiple transition presets for faster scene changes.
  3. AI-Powered Noise Reduction – Implementing smarter, adaptive noise cancellation for microphones that adjusts automatically depending on background sounds.
  4. Collaborative Editing/Co-Streaming – Features that allow multiple users to manage scenes and sources collaboratively in real-time.
  5. Plugin Marketplace Integration – A built-in marketplace to easily discover, install, and update community plugins.
I’d love to hear your thoughts or any other ideas that could improve OBS Studio for both new and advanced users.
Thanks for reading, and looking forward to your feedback!

#3 - Beware implications when suggesting something like AI powered noise reduction that involves using patented processes, when dealing with Free, Open-Source Software (FOSS). side rant - most 'AI' actually isn't actually true AI, but rather ML, and is a grossly over-used buzzword. And for broad system application, would have HUGE implications for hardware resource load. GPU offload, as is already the case with nVidia's noise reduction, makes far more sense.

Personally, I'd prefer effort be put into more integrated options for NDI video feeds, and mixer input (on Windows OS, be that ASIO or ??)
