Need help with the preview screen

I have been having an issue with the preview screen of OBS. I reinstalled the video driver and Visual C++, but it didn't fix the issue. I reinstalled the app and the issue is still present. I am pretty much lost at this point. If anyone has any other suggestions, I would appreciate it. I will leave the log files below and a few screenshots. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey, thanks for the suggestion. I tried a full power off a few times yesterday and today, but the issue is still present. I read from other threads that turning the device off and back on helped them, but it is not working for me.

If it wouldn't help, try at least to clear hibernate file. Search online for "clear hibernate cache windows 11" or something similar.

do you use Win11 24H2?
did you disable "MS Recall"?
if so - how?

if you disabled "screenrecorder" in windows settings it is clear why you only have a black/white screen ;)

Hey, thanks for the suggestion once again. I disabled Hibernation using the command window and even tried to delete the file, but I didn't find it. That said, I still have the same issue with OBS.

Having the same problem...
I do not believe this to be a Nvidia driver or hardware issue, heres why:
Despite all the troubleshooting and forced settings to point to Nvidia, the logs from OBS still show that it trys to pull HAGS from the integrated display.

I went into BIOS and forced my GPU, rebooted, opened OBS and no issue. Went back to BIOS, turned hybrid gpu setting back on, and problem reoccurred.
I'm still troubleshooting, because I would prefer not to stress my gpu during multitasking, but I do not think this is related to Nvidia.

Either OBS or Windows setting not properly taking place. If I find a better solution, i will post here.
Maybe we can find a regedit that can help with this...

Added both working and non-working logs. Hope that helps.

I'll just add here, that I'm going to narrow this down to a Windows 11 Graphic Settings issue. I had another app that was having a similar issue and it too has now resolved using forced gpu setting from bios.

As the troubleshooting steps above mention to use the Windows Graphic setting for hardware, that setting is not being enforced for particular apps for whatever reason. I have no idea, its over my troubleshooting knowledge. Or maybe it is infact a driver issue not properly working from Windows....?

AIK I'm happy to know that its technically not a hardware problem.
