Question / Help Need help with streaming setting

im trying to stream on twitch and having some problems..

1- frames dropping a LOT every time i move.
2- it's not full screen on twitch

im not looking for the best of the best stream settings i just want to stream stuff to 2-3 of my friends like once a week i just want the video to run without problems and quality does not matter , i have a 1mb upload speed and sometime .5 yes its really bad .

My laptop specs :

SYSTEM_OS Windows 8.1 Single Language 64-bit (6.2, Build 9200) (9600.winblue_gdr.140330-1035)
SYSTEM_CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.4GHz

The main issue here is that you're downscaling to a resolution lower than what I used in the early 90s to play my old DOS games.

Go to Settings > Video and configure your base resolution to be 1920x1080, then use the resolution downscale to select 1280x720. There's no reason to use NVENC on that system either, so go to Settings > Encoding and witch the encoder back to x264. After making these changes you'll probably need to select your main source and press Ctrl+F to fit it to your newly resized scene. After that things should look a lot better.

If you're extremely bandwidth-limited then you'll probably want to downscale further but that will take a bit of experimentation on your part.

thank you so much for the reply changing server location lowered the frame drop i just have 1 small problem now how do i improve the video quality by just a bit? i know i said i do not care about the quality but the quality i have on right now is just too much haha.

You can increase the bitrate if you have the available upstream bandwidth (though more than 2500 Kbps for 720p30 is a little excessive, and 3500 Kbps is the Twitch maximum) or downscale the video to a lower resolution.
