NDI audio input stutters

We want to present a video film from one PC via a beamer and simultaneously stream it on the Internet on a second PC with OBS. To do this, I have installed the app vMixDesktopCapture on the first PC, which streams the video and audio signals to the local network using the NDI protocol.
On the second PC (OBS), these NDI signals are fetched, mixed with other video signals and streamed to the Internet.
Most of this already works. Both the video and the audio signal arrive in OBS and can be processed there.
Unfortunately, the audio signal stutters. I suspect that the signal is always muted for a short time when the signal level drops below a threshold. This happens again and again with natural speech.
If I use the NDI Tools (NDI Show Monitor) instead of OBS to fetch the signals, then the audio signal runs continuously. Therefore I suspect that the muting is triggered in OBS.

Where in the many settings in OBS can I influence this behavior?

Friedbert
