Question / Help my OBS doesnt capture the game only sound

hello

i have a problem that when i try to use OBS to record a video

it starts up okay then it just sticks on 1 screen and only records my mic and in game sounds from then on

last time i tried it recorded for about 2 seconds then stopped but normally it instantly stops

does anyone know what to do about this?


ive had this with 2 games:
mc (windowed)
dont starve (full screen)

no its not a black screen its just like its makes a screenshot and then sticks to it

Your system is incapable of streaming at the settings you have set up. You need to reduce resolution, downscale to at least 540p. Possibly more. Reduce FPS to 30.
