Question / Help My obs and stream is freezing.

Hey everyone, I downloaded obs about a week ago, and its really decent. I've noticed about 7mins after I start streaming, the stream always freezes for about 10secs- 10mins and then starts over agian. how do I fix this?

Im assuming that means to upload a log file

You appear to have a very large number of of duplicate and late frames, which indicates that your system can't keep up with the settings you're trying to stream at (1600x900 at the medium preset is probably too much for that dual core CPU, even at only 12 FPS). Er, no, he just said the problem is that your encoding settings are too high. You can't use the medium preset with that CPU. You had no dropped frames in that log, so it's not a network issue.

While your streaming connection isn't very stable, it wasn't bad enough to result in any dropped frames. An unstable connection also can't cause late or duplicate frames, which is the main issue you're having.

Mmk I just lowered the settings and the stream hasn't frozen! thanks for the instant feedback :)
