If you are on windows 7, make sure to turn off aero before capturing. Elgato should work directly with OBS though (though only at 720p right now). If that isn't your problem, please post a log.

My elgato is at 720p now and I checked the box ''Disable Aero'' . Video Capture Device is a little bit laggy and I cannot use the Elgato software while using this function.Jim said:Is there a reason why you're using window/monitor capture to use the device? It seemed like you had it directly added at some point, which would probably been ideal.
