Question / Help Monitor Capture/Window capture don't work with ELGATO HELP

Hello
I just got my Elgato and whenever I add my screen region through monitor/window capture, it appears but it's frozen and it doesn't work.
Any help?

If you are on windows 7, make sure to turn off aero before capturing. Elgato should work directly with OBS though (though only at 720p right now). If that isn't your problem, please post a log.

My elgato is at 720p now and I checked the box ''Disable Aero'' . Still while I'm previewing my stream it's lagging really hard even though I checked the box ''Disable encoding while previewing''

Is there a reason why you're using window/monitor capture to use the device? It seemed like you had it directly added at some point, which would probably been ideal.

Video Capture Device is a little bit laggy and I cannot use the Elgato software while using this function.
