I like to try and stream games from my Nintendo Switch 2 to some friends on Discord using the OBS Virtual Camera. I use an EVGA XR1 lite Capture Card. Overall quality seems to be fine, I don't have any real complaints on the visual side of things, and viewers tell me that it looks perfectly fine.
I use Monitor and Output to get captured sound to play for me on my wireless headphones, but there are many times when the audio can get a little janky and cuts off/stutters. To try and remedy this, I got myself a 3.5 mm audio jack and a grounded loop isolator to plug into my Switch and the computer through the Line In port. This fixes up the audio stuttering on my end, but the result of this is that now the computer is getting the audio instead of the capture card, which means viewers cannot hear anything from the stream.
What could I do about this? Could I capture the audio through some other means and have it play on its own audio channel that the stream could pick up? Is there some way to fix the stuttering issues when I have the Monitor and Output setting? I also only have surface knowledge of OBS' settings and capabilities.
Thank you so much for reading!
