Microphone audio randomly desyncs from everything else on stream?

Hello everyone, I've been recently having an issue where my microphone audio is randomly getting desynced from everything else on stream. Like my gameplay footage, my webcam, and my desktop audio when I'm in a discord call.

I have tried:

  • Setting all audio devices and OBS to be 48HZ
  • disabling High Precision Even Timer in device manager
  • Having the encoder to be NVENC
  • Selecting my mic as the custom audio device for the webcam
  • Setting the FPS to 29.97 since my webcam is 30 FPS
  • Setting buffering to disable for both my webcam and video capture card
  • Unchecking Device timestamps
I'm not sure what I should do at this point. Any suggestions?

Try streaming directly to twitch or youtube. Set fps 30 or 60 (if your upload let you)

Thanks for replying! You think restream is causing the issue?

Lol I get ya but it tells me things I already know. Like the max buffering, I don't know how to prevent that from happening
Start with the yellow recommendations. Update windows first. Do not install win 11.

Even your two video devices (webcam and elgato) deliver audio at 44k1. Disable their audio or try to change them to 48k. If not possible, change the other audio sources (and obs) all together to 44k1. Mixing both is bad.
Then follow the hint that two times the same capture method in a scene. Omit one of them. Two times same capturing kills performance greatly.
