I'm trying to stream with a Elgato, a blue yeti and a c920 and keep them all in sync, but my mic keeps coming unsynced with the facecam and elgato and i think it is because of the noise gate...any help?

It's not because of the noise gate. It's probably just that the sync is off, or you're not using "use buffering" with your elgato (needs to be on). Or, you might want to disable mic in audio settings, and use the mic directly via the c920 device source's properties instead.

What should i set the elgato buffer to though?

Right-click on your Elgato video capture source and select properties. Check the "Use Buffering" box in the video section. Leave the value at 0.

So this will fix the elgato desync, but what about the webcam and mic?

The Elgato will always be delayed a bit as it's a USB 2.0 capture device, so you'll need to delay your webcam and mic as well to match. It's up to you to experiment with offset/buffering for those devices to get things right.

I can get the webcam to sync with the elgato, but even with the same offset the mic won't sync up

Can I no longer use a noise gate when using my mic via the c920, any way to do this?

Ah good point. Yea, in the current version of OBS there's no way to apply a filter to a sound source that way -- it will be in OBS2 which is currently in development, but OBS1 doesn't have that right now. Kind of a bad situation I put you in there, I apologize.

Any idea on v2 release date? Months? Weeks?
