here's my logs just to get that out of the way
So, my issue is when I have any desktop audio running then my mic wont pick anything up. if I try to get really close to the mic while recording then it becomes choppy and distorted. The only way I can describe it is that the desktop audio is overpowering the mic and the mic is competing with it. I've searched everywhere and can't find anyone whos had this problem so I decided to post myself. I would appreciate the help, because its starting to make me crazy.
Specs just in case
Windows 10 64x
Intel Core i5 (6th Gen) 6200U / 2.3 GHz dual core
8 GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce 940M
2 GB GDDR5 SDRAM
