Question / Help Main Monitor not shown

Hi Everybody,

I´m completely new to OBS. I downloaded the software, installed it and started "learning by doing" while watching this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stMBmiEwvYE
Everything went fine, but... it doesn´t matter how I change the settings and whatever I try... the Main Monitor is not showing... it´s a black space.

What shall I do to get it right?

I´m very sorry, but - I guess it´s about my bad English, but what do you exactly mean by a log? A screenshot?

You can't use monitor capture with that.

What do you exactly mean by "that"?
