Hi everyone
On macOS I noticed the default OBS text source Text (FreeType 2) does not handle alignment the way you would expect, which makes it awkward to position blocks of text cleanly when you need proper left, centre, or right alignment.
To fix this, I created a modified version that shows up as a new source called Text (Fixed). It’s built from the existing Text (FreeType 2) source, but with the alignment behaviour corrected.

How to install:
- Download the attached zip from this post
- Double click the zip to extract it
- Copy fixed text.plugin into your OBS user plugins folder
- Restart OBS
