Question / Help Low FPS Local Recordings.

My game frames barely drop a single bit, but the recordings are only getting...10-15 fps

I'm recording Paragon btw.


my set up is
-16 Gigs of Ram

-i5 3.5Ghz Quad-Core Processor

-EVGA GTX 650 Ti graphics card

-500 Watt Power Supply

Also make sure you make gamecapture and no screencapture. And you should post a logfile.

That increased my frames a heck of a lot, but still going around 20 frames per second. I was wrong about its frames before, it was actually closer to 5fps before that tweak. I appreciate it. I also don't know how to include a log

Settings should be fine. If your game runs with 1080p you should setup obs also for 1080p.(for local recordings) And you could use 320 Bitrate at audio. For the fps problem, make sure to setup your game in the scene as a gamecapture. no screencapture or something else. (if your game runs in windowed mode you can use windowcapture, just dont capture your entire desktop) if this doesnt help you could try obs studio. also try to disable aero design.
