Question / Help Livestream lagging | Elgato | Twitch.tv

Hi guys,

So i have just gone a got myself a elgato, I have been wanting to livestream for along time now and have finally got the chance to do so.
I can livestream without any problems using the elgato program but i am wanting to add a webcam and overlay so i am using the OBS program, The only problem when using this program is it makes the stream really laggy and is unwatchable... Does anyone have any suggestions?
