Recently I've found out that LGHD have the stream engine feature for win 8.1 I believe? I tired to used it with OBS(which is told on their website that it can be) but it gives me a red screen! also tried both running on admin mode and also both 32 and 64bit of OBS, still getting RSOD :/

Have been streaming games on PS3(mainly CoD) using OBS for quite sometime now and havent get this problem before.

My setup:
PS3 > HDMI splitter(HDCP stuff ",) > PC (LGHD) > TV | This setup always been like this, never changed
PC Specs:
i5-3570K OC'D 4.2ghz
Corsair Vengence 2x4GB (8GB)
MSI GTX670

Anyone have this problem or know how to fix this?

I'll be back with a log file if possible in 6hrs from this post as im out! help will be much appreciated :)

Yeah we'll need to see a log file. Make sure you're adding the LGP Stream Engine as the capture source.

You mean the next gen consoles won't use HDCP? Nice. Your splitters are still good for people that need to strip HDCP from cable boxes, etc ;)

Since im more towards PS3 kinda guy (but not a fan boy, and no offence or objections towards xbox :P), am upgrading to PS4 soon! I've read from somewhere that PS4 dont use HDCP after certain patch that sony will release soon :)
not sure about xbox one though :/

Will keep that sacred piece of hardware for someone or some other setup :B

Sony has indeed promised removal of HDCP for games. Everyone's hoping it's soon because the built in streaming is pretty meh quality.

XBox One does not have HDCP for games. It still has HDCP for certain apps.

Hahaha, i've guessed so too~ who would want to scarifies CPU/GPU power with frame drops while gaming, especially fast motion games! Plus if they are really into streaming community, capture card is the best way to go. Sony implementation for streaming in mind is most prolly to allow consumer that dont have a capture card to share certain "crazy" moments in the game.
Xbox, maybe thats the reason why MLG or other competition doesn't use PS3, or prolly sponsered haha just my guess hahaha :)

You can strip HDCP with a $40 splitter box, if it bothers you that much ;) PM me if you want the link.

Well, the PS4/XBox streaming implementations use a dedicated hardware chip to handle all the load, so there isn't actually any impact on the game.

I don't even have a PS4 yet :P HDCP will likely be removed by the time I get one.
