Issue with OBS and ChromaKey

Hi
I am tryin to use a green screen with OBS v. 28.0.3 (64 bit) on Windows 10 and I am following the steps:

1. Add Video Capture Device to Sources (Logitech C920)
2. Add image to Sources
3. Make sure image is below capture device in Sources
4. Add filter to Image: ChromaKey

Now the issue: my image is a blue square - no details at all. Just want a blue background. But my video feed is not showing in the window - only the blue image. So when I change Similarity (or anything else), I only get either change in the blue background (blueish, greyish) OR pitch black. I cannot see the video of myself at all.

Why is that? What am I doing wrong here?

I have poor (uneven) lighting, but that should not matter in this case, as I am not able to see the video at all - right?

The filter should be applied to the source of the video (in your case the Video Capture Device).

The filter should be applied to the source of the video (in your case the Video Capture Device).

i agree with this. in your screenshot it appears that you are trying to apply the chromakey to an image.
