Question / Help Image Slideshow only plays about 12 or so images and/or gifs

Title says it all. I've tried adding multiple directories, etc etc. Is this a glitch with OBS? If not, what is happening? The files I'm using are not very big.

The files' sizes in their compressed state (the size they are on disk) is not relevant to the memory limits set in the slideshow source.

So the file sizes are supposed to be incredibly tiny in order for me to feature more than 12 images in a slideshow?

and you need to factor in their UNCOMPRESSED sizes
so no PNG, no JPG, no GIF

There is currently a 250 MB limit of raw image data for a slideshow (you can calculate memory use by width * height * 4).
