This is very interesting. Is it possible to have several thresholds and several images. that would allow us to create interesting custom music visualizations. T

his could lead to extending it with frequency based triggers so we can have visual effect based for example on bass in music.

You can add several thresholds by stacking few instances of the plugin. Just leave silent image slot empty, and overlay it on top. Kinda hack, but still.

Speaking of new ideas, i want to make something like word trigger, when you say a certain word - your emotion changes. But to be honest, i don't have too much of a free time recently, and even if i make such functionality, i will make new plugin for that. For now i just want to keep things simple. Adding video formats support and custom image formats, that not supported by OBS in the first place, will increase amount of code 10 times if not more. Now it's just 500 lines of code.

Although, different thresholds is most requested option, and it's not that hard to add, but how many of them we need? I'm not sure if it's possible to add infinite amount of them.

There is a problem with the gif image flickering when using it in OBS right now. Please check.

So, I feel like I'm the only one having this issue. Downloaded the zip, extracted and copied the files over to the OBS directory, but the image reaction source still doesn't show up after restarting and rebooting my computer. I tried reinstalling several times and can't seem to figure this out. If someone would be willing to help me out I'd really appreciate it.

I am having problemes the plugin doesnt work anymore after updating to the newest flatpack even though i instaled it right (at leat i hope) there were 2 folders wich i put the plugin in the one wich opens when you press the button to open the folder in obs and the one in the readme file i am on linux mint

so as far as i know the new version of obs from the flatpak removed suport for 3rd party plugins and thats hwy this isnt working anymore my fix for now was downgrading back to an older version (in this case 30.0.2.1-3build1) long name i know xD

I'd be so happy about the ability to add more images/thresholds! I think something like 5 - 10 slots would be enough. Take care!

Hi there, nice plugin, very useful for vtuber !
I just have an issue with gif, I can see it, both gif are correctly switching when my mic is on or off but it's like the gif isn't starting
Also, do you plan to add more features like webm support ?

Is there any chance you could add support for video ( for a longer loop)?
(I have loaded a video with an alpha channel which looks great but does not play, it just shows the first frame)
It would be awesome to be able to load videos as well.

When you load APNG, only the first scene is loaded and stopped

Someone modified my plugin to enable video playback support. I not accepted this change yet, since it's drastically changing code of my plugin, also it might degrade performance for still images, but improve for animated ones. Now i need to decide:
1. Make this version as option of this plugin, so there will be picture and video mode;
2. Move this code into separate plugin.
What do you think? I also recommend to visit pull request page, Harshcombo50548 described possible problems with this change.
