When I record my desktop screen and play Minecraft I get 30 fps, but when I switch it to game capture, I get stuttering when I preview the video. I will link the two videos to compare:

Desktop Capture:
Game Capture:

I clicked add, game capture, application to javaw Minecraft 1.7.5

Thank you, and hopefully I can resolve this issue!

It's because you're running OBS on the wrong adapter and it's defaulting to a slower capture method. Go to nvidia's control panel, which is located in windows' control panel. Then, select "3D Settings", click the "global" tab, and select "nvidia" in the drop-down to set your system to run programs with the nvidia adapter by default. You can't set the video adapter in OBS for laptops due to nvidia laptop driver issues, you must set the adapter as described above using the nvidia control panel.

Hm, my apologies for that, I should have looked at the second log (god I hate laptops with switchable graphics adapters). You're not using minecraft with any graphical mods or anything are you? Looks like something is causing the faster version of the capture to fail, forcing it to fall back on the slower capture for minecraft.

I do not have any mods at all. Not even a texture pack. Just plain and simple minecraft.
Thanks!

I am unable to record with this issue, because Fraps takes up too much space and just lags my computer! Thank you for anyone who helps!
