How to Separate Game and Discord Audio into Different Tracks

Hi all,

I am trying to record gameplay footage while I talk on Discord with friends. However, I haven't been able to figure out how to get Discord audio and game audio to record on separate tracks for ease of editing. I tried the win-capture-audio plugin but to no avail. Are there any methods of doing what I'm trying to achieve here?

Start here:

For your sources, use the "Capture Audio (Beta)" function of game and window capture sources to record this specific audio only, so it will show up as separate audio as you see it in the guide. Don't use the global "desktop audio" source, since it is a mix of every audio on your system and cannot be separated again.

This worked! Thanks.
