How to make recording smooth

I want to record at 1080p 60fps but my recording isnt as smooth as it can be. I was wondering if someone can tell me all the settings i should change to make my recording as smooth as possible (I dont care about quality). Also, when I record my cpu/gpu/ram usage is at 100% so those arent the problem. Thank you
