Question / Help Help with High Encoding CPU Usg

Hi, I just got my elgato HD60 today and im setting it up at the moment. I just called to upgrade my internet because my upload speed is only at 4, but it will not take affect till tomorrow. I thought i might a well set up OBS with my elgato. So I have my scenes created and when I hit preview screen it redoes high encoding cpu usg. Ive tried downscaling, but it has not worked. Im just wondering if this is because my internet speed is slow right now? Or if my laptop is not strong enough. Anyone have any ideas that i can get this message away, or if they know its because of my internet speed?

Preview doesn't use your internet. You should probably post a log so we can see your specs and settings

Im not sure how to post a log but, Intelcore i5, 2,50GHz, Ram 6.0gb, 64 bit, I set my encode max bitrate to 10000, Then i just when into my elgatos properties and brought it down to 1080- 720

You should do a test recording or stream for a bit to reproduce problem and then post a link to the log from that recording/stream.

I think i fixed it, I sat down the max bitrate to 3500 and it worked?
