All of a sudden OBS is not capturing anything on my screen, it captures my webcam. But it is not capturing a window, game or even monitor. It was working perfectly fine before this last update.

Did you turn on QuickSync or something like that? I got the same problema after enable it. I just restarted my PC and everything went to normal.

Upgrade your OBS.

Are you using SLI or QuickSync? OBS have a little problema with SLI.

On Video settings, try to choose your GPU that's on the Slot 1 PCI-ex of your motherboard. If this don't help, try to turn off the SLI.

Upgrade? and I have a laptop.

Er, ok, but Compatibility Mode for Window Capture is a last resort method. It would be much better if you posted a log of the problem so we could maybe figure out if something else is wrong in your configuration.

edit: Actually, if you are on a laptop with an AMD GPU that has switchable graphics, then Compatibility Mode will unfortunately be your ONLY option.

It's in window capture properties. When you double click your window capture source (or right click and go to properties), it will bring up the properties for window capture. In there, there's the option for "compatibility mode", which forces a capture.
