Question / Help Help! LIVE GAMER HD ISSUE!!

Hi, i have had my live gamer for over a year now and only just started wanting to use it again after 3 or so months of not using it however when i connect the cables to my xbox etc, everything works fin as i can see my game through the pc so i can capture and also through my monitor. The problem lies with the fact whenever i go to capture the vidoe lags horribly and then play it back and its awful very bad lag and constantly freezing. i have uninstalled, reinstalled, even removed the pci-e card and reinserted it with no luck can someone please shed some light on the situation. thanks
 
What do you mean you don't have OBS? This is the OBS support forum, not the RecCentral support forum.
