Hi there, I am asking for some help for local recording, I would like to have a little help to get good quality and great fps... these are my PC specs:

Win 7 Ultimate
Service Pack 1
----
Intel Core 2 Duo, E7500 @ 2.93GHz 2.93 GHz
RAM 4.00 GB
System 64 bits

I want to record many games with the less lose of quality and frames possible, any tips or helps?

Here are the games I am recording, just in case you are interested
Osu!
LoL
Starcraft II
Halo MP
Maplestory

And I get many lag spikes when recording, even I disabled my preview when recording... on a game I get around 500 FPs (no joke) but still OBS wont help me.
EDIT: I am aware that there are alot of posts from low Fps...

You need to downscale, probably a lot, and set your x264 preset to either Superfast or Ultrafast, and go back to 30fps. Your CPU is unfortunately woefully underpowered for what you are trying to do, and then setting crf=0 kicks in lossless recording mode, which adds even more processing strain.

So, there isnt a posibility to keep my original res and at least have smooth fps?
I dont care anymore about quality :/

Hi, sorry if im reviving the post but this may help
im with almost the same CPU (core2duo e8400) and i manage to local record downscaled to 720p30fps
right now only the recorder version seems to be getting lower fps, but i will tweak it a little bit and then post the logs

Kami, that actually helps me a lot, in my past videos I could use 720p with 30fps but now it records 360p D:
