Hi, my question* is simple. (Before you tell me, yes I've researched but I didn't find a solution)
I use FRAPS to record videos while playing, but the problem is that I have to sync my webcam and mic sound in post edit and it it's kind of tedious to do so.
So I started using OBS for local recording and so far has been good, but no so much.
Generally FRAPS for some reason doesn't take so much CPU performance and barely drops 5-10 frames while recording games.
But OBS takes waaaaay to much CPU usage and I even have to put it in Real Time priority to make it work, but that makes my game and other application decrease on its performance.
*Is there any way I can get OBS to have the same performance as FRAPS does? I don't have problem with hdd usage or file size because I have a dedicated drive.
I have my custom settings on x264 like this:
profile=baseline preset=ultrafast qp=25.
TL;DR : I want OBS to record uncompressed, very low CPU usage without having to encode much. (maybe deactivating preview while recording. how to?)
