Question / Help Game capture black screen

I recently set up OBS and had no trouble streaming (League of Legends) the few times I have tried it. Suddenly, streaming and preview only display a black screen. I have not made changes to either OBS or LoL or anything else that would have any sort of impact, so I'm struggling to find a cause. I'm running on a PC, not a laptop. Occasionally I can get menu component of LoL to stream, but it seems arbitrary in choosing which times to work and not. I definitely can no longer get the actual gameplay to stream. I see similar threads with solutions like running OBS in admin mode, or setting game capture as a global source, but these methods provide no change. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The best way to stream LoL is to set up 2 scenes. In the first scene, have a Window Capture of the LoL client (make sure Aero is enabled on Win 7), and in the 2nd scene, have a Game Capture of the actual LoL game. Thanks for the reply...it seems to be working now. I hadn't made any changes, other than restarting my machine. I think maybe the issue with not being able to see the game stream was that I was alt-tabbed out of the game.

Yea, most games stop rendering if you Tab out and they get minimized.
