verse is actually well displayed in the control panel. But nothing is displayed in the browser. Even when I type some simple text, or select a song file, nothing is displayed in the browser even they are showing in the control panel

Updated UI and Transition

Updated some colors in the theme.
Made some changes to the UI, moved Bible closer to Bible search for easy navigation
Made it possible to use space to send text to the screen when typing.
Added a fade in Transition.

I'm reasonable sure I have followed the instructions carefully but I still don't see any text.
I get a coloured rectangle and that's about it. I'm on Windows 11.

Please, try and download the latest version I uploaded last week and try it.

If the issue persist right click on the plugin to inspect if there is an error message. Then screenshot and share it the error. If the issue persist, contact me via email oluwatosinjoseph789@gmail.com

Go to the browser source and toggle off Local File.

I had the same problem - this fixed the problem.
format: file://D:/obs_bible_plugin\control_panel.html (same format as Custom dock url)

Yes. You need to know HTML css and JavaScript to be able to add new translations.

I am getting this error in the log when loading OBS and whenever I try to search for a song file it shuts down.
Using OBS 30.2.3 on Ubuntu Linux 22.04. Other features like text, Bible and List work fine.

Hello Tosin, thank you for your efforts with this plugin. I am having similar issues with the above.

Text is not showing up on the screen. I just downloaded the plugin today. Attached is my screen shot. Thank you for your help

Please, uncheck the textbox for Local file. Then paste the path for the browser_source.html in the textbox for URL.

I'm new to OBS and I've been looking for a way to put scripture references on our church's live-stream. This fits the bill quite nicely! :) However, I am having an issue w/loading new song lyrics [which I'm using for Bible verses]. I can load up a first round [.txt file] just fine, but when I select a different .txt file, it won't switch over to it w/o some effort. I'm not even sure what is making it update.... Would you mind having a look to see what is up?

Pending when I make the updates, after uploading the first song.txt, if you need to upload a second song,
1. Right click on the plugin and
2. Click Refresh

This will reset the plugin and then you will be able to load the new song into the OBS Bible plugin.
