Question / Help Frames missed due to rendering lag - Constantly occurring

For anyone having this issue in 2025, I had a frames missed due to rendering lag @ 73% and I tried stolz_ar solution, and it worked! It is now at 0%.

I was also having an issue with skipped frames due to encoding lag at 70%, for that I went to 'Output' and changed it from NVENC to AMD (my graphics card) and it is now at 0%.

So, an update on this. The fix did not hold as I was still having errors. I tackled this from multiple fronts; I turned on Vsync in Nvidia settings, toggled 'on' to Max Frame rate and set it as the same as my OBS setting (30 FPS), and lowered my in game settings.

The kicker tho is to check the plugins. After my rendering lag would not be fixed by these methods, I started to toggle various captures while looking at the stats in OBS. The rendering lag was due to a background remover plugin on my camera. After I removed the plugin from my camera, the rendering lag went away. The encoding lag was fixed by the AMD change, although I had to change it over again this am.

Hopefully this works for others- definitely check the plugins.
