Question / Help Fps lag spikes.

I was recording a minecraft video (in monitor capture) recently when the recording's fps just decided to die suddenly. is there a way to force the recorder to maintain its fps and kill the fps of the game instead? that way I notice and can try to do something about it instead of finding out latter that i have 3 hours of garbage footage

Try to use game capture and see if it helps
