have same problem, yes i change my in game fps to 60, but its not good for me, becouse i playing in FPS with 100fps+
help please i do not want to lower in game fps to 60...

sadly this is not a solution in my eyes... i dont want to cap my FPS.
i might go over and try OBS-NDI
This might work, but the capture on NDI is iffy on games, but try it anyway... Game Knight, check resources for Newtek NDI Plugin... :) Or message me and I can explain how I use it in my workflow...

windows support is claiming the latest April 18 update is not playing nice with graphics drivers.
so we are stuck like this till microsoft or Nvidia will release a patch

Shadowplay has it's own low latency buffer access method, that's why it's performing better than any 3rd party streaming software.
It's also outperforming OBS+NVENC, but that's just because NVENC is only the encoding part of shadowplay, not the low latency buffer access part, that is blocked for 3rd party tools.

Shadowplay also does not do any compositing, further reducing it's need for GPU resources.
i wouldn't go that rout unless i wasn't stuck.
i cant rollback (WONT FORMAT) and cant use OBS till Nvidia or Mic sorts out this issue.
for now i need to keep the viewers happy!

New Nvidia drivers was just released and installed.
No changes to how OBS runs and captures.
Which makes me think its either windows 1803 or OBS at this time.
What can i do? The shadowplay stream function is very limited and offers low quality.

I just started having this issue today with both OBS Studio and Streamlabs OBS and have been running a 1440p 144 monitor all year with no issues and I NDI. OBS cpu usage is at 10% with pc total usage at 50-60% and gpu at 60% with some game and it still does it but I noticed it goes back to 60fps output if I turn my cam off. With cam on it goes between 35-55fps. I am not sure what the deal is but I have turned off game mode and game dvr and I have tried everthing I could find online but nothing has worked yet. Had the 1803 update for a while now so don’t know why it would have just started today for me.

creating a brand new profile with only one scene and only "game capture" source in it works almost with no drops at all!
but i still cant use overlays and camera correctly.

Helo guys! I had same issues with OBS and other similar streaming software on my Windows 10. Today i disabled Game mode (https://aka.ms/imrx2o) and now everything works fine! I think problem in windows 10 trying to reduce another programs cpu utilization on Game mode.
