Without an fps cap, you force some component to run into a bottleneck situation and of course, you get inconsistent frametimes.sadly this is not a solution in my eyes... i dont want to cap my FPS.
i might go over and try OBS-NDI
I already use NDI in my flow. love it :)It's a temp solution so that you can stream :D OBS-NDI?
This might work, but the capture on NDI is iffy on games, but try it anyway... Game Knight, check resources for Newtek NDI Plugin... :) Or message me and I can explain how I use it in my workflow...sadly this is not a solution in my eyes... i dont want to cap my FPS.

Understatement of the year from them I say! lolwindows support is claiming the latest April 18 update is not playing nice with graphics drivers.
so we are stuck like this till microsoft or Nvidia will release a patch
i wouldn't go that rout unless i wasn't stuck.Shadowplay also does not do any compositing, further reducing it's need for GPU resources.
Or simply use an fps limit that your GPU can handle and use OBS.
