Question / Help Followers Notification (tricky question)

Hey,

I have some sort of issue. I'm using one PC for streaming games in fullscreen (one monitor) while second PC is with different internet provider and I'm using that one to make sure that my stream goes smooth and I dont loose inet connection or something since I dont really pay attention on gaming PC beside on game.

Now when I use "NightDev - Follower Alert" there is no way to see instantly new follower, I can see only on delayed stream 30 sec later which will be late to say thanks since original notification showed up 30 sec before. Only way which I can see to realize that I got new follower instantly is to use &preview in OBS plugin but still its only sound, to see who followed I need to minimize game and see at OBS in 10 seconds at most which is duration of NightDev Follower Alert.

  • Question - Is there a way to set follower notification in chat perhaps ? (on second PC where I'm logged with same username on twitch/chat). Other PC is muted because I dont want mic to pickup sound from that one and I cant see notification always (but as I said its already late since stream is delayed 30 seconds).

  • Also is NightDev Follower Alert something like ultimate "must have" plugin for OBS in terms of followers notifications ? Beside simple .png/.jpg overlay I dont see how would I make some transition or effect then.

I just realized how old is this thread and how long I was planning to start streaming and I was dealing with internet issues.

Just out of curiosity since I stumbled on my own thread by googling, is there any other way so far since then aside from TeeBoard ?

TwitchAlerts is pretty popular and quick to notify of new followers/subs/etc. I haven't used TeeBoard in a while; not sure if it's still being developed.

TeeBoard was helpful because if I was gaming in borderless mode application would poppup notification (as one on steam) over game. Does TwitchAlerts do same ? Just wondering. Thanks for info
