Filters on main audio output in Windows

I want to route my main audio output (the stream) - now input 1 and 2 on my focuswrite 18i20 - to other (virtual) inputs of the focuswrite. I did not have any succes with rerouting the stream-sound. A filter, like de Audio Mon filter, would maybe a solution.

If your 18i20 supports Loopback, try setting it up in Focusrite Control to send Windows playback to virtual input channels. That’s usually cleaner than using an OBS Audio Monitor filter, which only monitors audio from within OBS. The exact routing depends on which generation of the 18i20 you have.

I use a 3 generation 18i20. I do not want other applicationto be rerouted as well.

Since you only want one app’s audio rerouted, try assigning that app to a separate output in Windows’ Volume Mixer, then route it through Focusrite Control. If the 18i20 doesn’t expose separate playback devices, a virtual audio cable may be needed. That way, you won’t accidentally reroute audio from every other application.
