Failed to connect to server: Connection timed out. Make sure you've configured a valid streaming service and no firewall is blocking the connection.

Hi, I was trying to stream to twitch and upon clicking the start streaming button, it said connecting for a few seconds and then this error came up. I have OBS Studio allowed through my Windows Defender Firewall on both private and public networks, but still no luck. I have also reinstalled OBS and also no luck.

Things tried:
- Reinstall OBS
- Generate new stream key
- Allow OBS through Windows Defender Firewall

Can someone help me please? Thanks in advance.

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

it appears that something is blocking your connection to the ingest server. your log indicates that the firewall is disabled. unless there is something else on your computer that could be blocking the connection i don't know. but, to be honest you are going to have a hard time streaming with your current setup. if you have not seen the results of the analyzer for your log here is a link https://obsproject.com/tools/analyzer?log_url=https://obsproject.com/logs/yA7DQ1DcSP2UACu4

Do you happen to know any way of possibly fixing it? It shows that the firewall is enabled..
